According to a report by Breitbart published on Saturday, March 16, 2024, former President Donald Trump addressed a rally in Dayton, Ohio, where he criticized President Joe Biden for retracting his use of the term “illegal” to describe the alleged killer of Laken Riley.
Laken Riley’s case adds to the growing list of American citizens who have reportedly lost their lives at the hands of illegal migrants in the United States.
Jose Antonio Ibarra, a 26-year-old illegal alien from Venezuela, was charged with kidnapping and murdering Laken Riley, a nursing student from Augusta University.
The tragic incident occurred while Riley was out for a morning jog near the University of Georgia campus in Athens.
Ibarra was already protected from deportation under New York’s sanctuary state policy before he arrived in Athens.
Ibarra had a previous arrest in August 2023 in New York City.
He faced charges of injuring a child under 17 years old and a motor vehicle violation.
Due to sanctuary state law, Ibarra was released from jail before ICE agents could request custody.
While addressing the State of the Union, President Biden initially referred to Laken Riley’s killer as an “illegal,” deviating from political correctness.
However, Biden later reversed his use of the term during a response to Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene’s heckling.
Former President Trump underscored at the Ohio rally that “Laken’s killer is an illegal alien criminal.”
He criticized Biden, stating that the current president prioritizes the feelings of illegal alien criminals over the lives of innocent American citizens.
“Joe Biden cares more about protecting the FEELINGS of illegal alien criminals than he cares about protecting the LIVES of innocent American citizens,” Trump claimed.
Trump pledged to take action if he were to become President of the United States again.
He said, “Not one more American life should be lost to migrant crime. When I am President of the United States, I will demand JUSTICE FOR LAKEN.”
He promised to terminate every Open Border policy of the Biden administration and initiate the largest domestic deportation operation in American history, ensuring justice for Laken Riley.
“On Day One of my administration, I will terminate every Open Border policy of the Biden administration, and we will begin the largest domestic deportation operation in American History,” Trump asserted.
Furthermore, Trump spoke on the negative impact of illegal immigration on Black and Hispanic Americans.
He accused Biden of betraying African American voters by granting work permits to illegal aliens, thereby reducing wages for American citizens.
Trump claimed that under Biden’s Open Borders policy, almost all jobs have been filled by foreign-born workers.
Trump accused Biden saying, “Thanks to his Open Borders policy, virtually 100 percent of the jobs under Biden have gone to foreign-born workers.”
The former president’s remarks at the Ohio rally highlighted the need to address the issue of illegal immigration for the safety and well-being of American citizens.
